As an admirer of nature, I’ve always been enchanted by its many capabilities. And as a way to process life events, emotions, and thoughts, I’ve always painted. The two paths merged when I fell in love with natural dyeing and so was born Flora Fibers.

Process
I only use natural fibers, and I carefully follow all the necessary steps to ensure the dye adheres properly to create long-lasting designs. I’d be so happy if your item of clothing is continually worn and loved, and I keep that in mind when preparing the fabrics.
Care
Wash by hand or machine wash on delicate cycle in cold water with a natural detergent that’s ph neutral, such as synthrapol or seventh generations. Hang dry and tumble dry to soften if desired.
Clothes are also best stored in a cool, dark place and shouldn’t be left to dry in direct sunlight as prolonged UV exposure can lighten the colors.
